B&B rooms near the Amsterdam Museum Quarter
In the Old South Museum district
Loman's Loft is situated in the Lomanstraat, one of the most beautiful streets of Oud Zuid, which again is one of the most beautiful areas of Amsterdam. What more could you want?
Popular neighborhood: quiet residential
The streets in Oud Zuid have preserved the unique and authentic ambience of Old European culture. In it you find a range of good restaurants, most of them well rated, some very expensive. Like some of the shops in the PC Hoofstraat, the most upmarket shopping street in town (although the locals prefer the Cornelis Schuytstraat). But Oud Zuid also has the Museum Quarter with the van Gogh, Rijks, and City museum (het Stedelijk). Then there are the Vondelpark, the famous Concertgebouw and the large Albert Cuypmarket in the Pijp: very hip and hot!
You can understand why the area is very popular by Dutch inhabitants to live in. We offer you a unique opportunity of staying in it for a few days. Grab your chance!
Excellent connections everywhere
We are only 10 biking or public transport minutes away from the famous canals of the inner old city, or the business centre of the Zuidas or the conventioncentre RAI. There are good connections to Schiphol airport (every 15 minutes a direct bus).
Arriving by car?
When travelling by car you can park your car in a P&R parking garage. There is one nearby our home Olympic Stadium). The parking there is safe and very cheap (if you check in after 10 am 1 Euro per 24 hours only !).
Arriving at Schiphol Airport?
We have a special airport service where we come and pick you up fromt the airport for 20 Euro onbly. Very convenient, quick and cheap, especially if you are with four persons and a lot of luggage. Off course you can also come by bus 197 (about 7,50 Euro per person), which leaves every 15 minutes from the airport and brings you in about half an hour to the Haarlemmermeerstation. From there it is a 10 minutes walk to our home.
