By car to Lomanstraat 2
When you arrive in Amsterdam, first drive to our home to drop your luggage. Than you can bring the car to the P&R car park nearby, which costs 1 (one !) Euro per 24 hours only. From there take the tram or bus into the center.
For your GPS navigator our address is Lomanstraat 2 Amsterdam, and the postal code 1075RA. The car park address for the navigator is: Laan der Hesperiden 70 (1076DX). The car park entrance is opposite this address. If you park the car after 10 am in the P&R you pay the low fee of 1 Euro per 24 hours. Before 10 am the fee is higher (but still low): 8 Euro per 24 hour. The garage has three entrances. Enter at the rightmost entry intended specifically and exclusively for P&R. Only then will you get a P&R ticket. Keep this ticket in a very safe place !
When on the day of departure you collect your car you have to have - next to the parking ticket - a public transport ticket, showing you came from the center. When I am around I will bring the driver with my car to the nearest stop which is considered to be the centre. That is the Roelof Hartplein. From there you can take tram 24 directly to the car park at the Olympic plein. Make sure you chech in and out with your ticket. Then, when paying the parking fee in the garage, use this ticket as proof that you came from the center. Only than you will be eligible for the low P&R fee. Once you have collected your car, than go back to our home and pick up the rest of the group and luggage.
